I watched the movie "Big Eyes" about artist Margaret Keane.  We had some of those pictures when I was little.  I'm sure if Mom had known the worth, they would not have been sold at a garage sale for pennies.  I think I may need to watch again.  Her second husband where she got the Keane name from, was a sociopath of the highest order.  Possibly even a psychopath, throwing fire at her, trying to burn her in her studio.

I wish I was as talented as the artist that rendered this spread.  I'm sure I could emulate.

Today, I had an early MRI, came home with a headache, make a clay bowl which is drying, worked on my shawl, made a veggie salad, and just puttered online.  Sadly, these are my days now.  The people I would have called good friends are just not.  I need to reach out to the ones I went to middle school with. They were always more genuine.  We will see.

Long time...

It's been a long time since I have even attempted to put anything on this blog.  Stuff has happened. My life tragically altered.  I've been injured, I've been left all alone.

I'm still trying to come back from the devastation.  I try to keep creating as therapy.  My latest is a shawl pattern called a virus shawl.  I may donate it, I may give it away.  I just hope it's part of a process that will get me felling better.
