Illness

"I cannot go to school today, said little Peggy Ann McKay. I have the measles and the  mumps a gash a rash and purple bumps"

a line from Shel Siverstein's poem (title escapes me) but I have been, myself, feeling the plague. I have laryngitis. The doctor says it can last anywhere from 2 days to 10!  Sweet.  I talk to patients all day.  Could not work yesterday or today. Fever, sore throat, head and body aches from the virus.  But am to return tomorrow when I still cannot speak.  It will be an interesting day.  I haven't slept so much since mono in 8th grade!  Hope it helps me make it through tomorrow!

Waxing poetic, but not feeling anything good enough to post.
